This is Forager’s first “project” since forming in January 2024. Since we opened we’ve focused on supplying feedstock to biogas plants looking for missing or better feedstocks.

Forager consultants arranged with contractors to forage the grass and deliver into clamp – agreeing price and specification. We then provided RAMS and Traffic Management Plans for the delivery and clamping of material; we organised delivery of oxygen barrier/ sheeting, covers and filled gravel bags; and provided supervision, data collection and feed sampling.

Finally, we organised and managed the sheeting and covering of the 5,500 tonnes of grass and wholecrop rye.

With the job done, we’re proud to be part of something turning non-food crops into Renewable Natural Gas for export into the gas network.
